The purpose of Linking for Learning is personal convenience as much as anything else. The Internet provides a wonderful opportunity to have convenient access to our own library of references regardless of where we are located. This site assembles the resources I find valuable. The inspiration behind the project came from my family and I particularly thank my sons Sean and Paul for their advice and assistance during its various phases; also my husband Derek for his encouragement.

I am employed as Head of Library at Mazenod College, Mulgrave, Victoria, Australia. Mazenod is a Year 7-12 boys' school located in the eastern suburbs of metropolitan Melbourne. My library role is dominated by the understanding that the learning landscape and the resourcing of it has changed dramatically in recent years. The teacher librarian, with a broad view of the curriculum, is in a unique position within the school to support the range of literacy and learning skills required in today's networked world. It's a wonderfully exciting time to be an educator as the rapid change in both curriculum and resources emphasises the need for every person to be a learner.

I have endeavoured not to violate the copyright of any other person in constructing this page. If you find something you consider a violation, please advise me immediately so it can be rectified. Finally, if you find my site of interest or value I'd be pleased to hear from you. If not, just move onto something else more to your liking and forget about it!
