The purpose of Linking for Learning is personal convenience as much as anything else. The Internet provides a wonderful opportunity to have convenient access to our own library of references regardless of where we are located. This site assembles the resources I find valuable. The inspiration behind the project came from my family, and I particularly thank my sons Sean and Paul for their advice and assistance during its various phases; also my husband Derek for his encouragement.

I am employed by St Joseph's College, Mildura in Victoria, Australia in the dual role of Head Teacher-Librarian/Network Resource Manager. In a Year 7-12 co-ed school, these combined roles place me centrally within the learning environment. Through careful planning, research and technical support, our school has developed technologically and academically to provide an exceptional learning environment. We face the challenge of all educators these days, however, in constantly reviewing practices to ensure that technology application provides the most stimulating, challenging and relevant learning experiences for our students. We live in interesting times!
