Learning Outcomes

Students completing this WebQuest will be able to :

• Assess sources of information to develop and support an opinion
• Decide what information will be relevant to their argument
• Evaluate the opinions an beliefs of others
• Synthesize information to generate hypotheses and form conclusions
• Communication within a team to reach an acceptable conclusion
• Present a final report to the class

Method

Setup and task processes are outlined in the body of the WebQuest.

Students complete the Environmental Impact Report Summary once they have taken notes using the questions supplied to guide their thinking.

Summary sheet can then be pasted onto poster with Final Group Conclusion and used as a prompt in group oral presentation.

This Assessment rubric will give you the option to assess individuals as well as the groups.
