John Seely Brown

The web has just begun to have an impact on our lives. As fascinated as we are with it today, we’re still seeing it in its early forms… My belief is that not only will the web be as fundamental to society as electrification but that it will be subject to many of the same diffusion and absorption dynamics as that earlier medium.

      These two organisations have combined to produce a powerful research tool specifically designed with students in mind. It's a community of libraries and learners organising the information of the Internet. Suits both primary and secondary students.

      If you can't find it anywhere else, have a look at this site. Resources are American but a look around will reveal a wealth of information eg. Historical documents.
    • Finding Dulcinea: Librarian of the Internet
      An amazing reference tool providing web guides, background information and research tools. Explore the depth of this site to discover reliable resources.
    • SquidWho
      SquidWho is the first people-built who's who. It's an easy way to find out about famous (and not so famous) people worldwide. If you're a fan of someone, build a page about them. Point to their books, blog, etc. It's another community built resource.
